Our programs

Each program meets a different need. Together they walk with people from crisis, to stability, to serving others.

More ways we serve

Smaller ministries and partnerships that fill the gaps.

Refugee care & advocacy

The International District is home to a growing number of refugee families from the DR Congo and South Sudan. What began with Kingdom Builders teachers helping families has grown into practical support:

  • Interpreting — Swahili, Kinyarwanda, French
  • Help with CYFD, DHS, SSA and APS
  • Medical appointments and emergency contacts
  • Transportation
  • Driver's license and state ID
  • Job search and workplace orientation
  • Cultural orientation
“We are here due to wars in our countries… When we arrive, we are expected to fit in like Americans. These people need a support system.” — Desire Kasi, Refugee Services

Counseling

Through our partner Formation Counseling Services, quality counseling is available at ABQ Central and other locations around Albuquerque.

Heartbeat Connection

Blankets, formula, and diaper bags with infant hygiene items for families with babies, paired with parenting workshops. Continued from the Baby Brianna Foundation since 2017.

Music School

Free music lessons for students ages 8–18. Limited slots, rolling enrollment.

Seasonal events

Back-to-school events, fall harvest festivals, summer camp scholarships, and community Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
